In which we finish the strip of the bottom of the carb.

Remove the main jet holder so we can get at the needle jet underneath.
Here comes the Needle Jet/atomiser. It unscrews from inside the tube it lives in. I cheated and turned the carb up the other way to get the jet out so I could put it all back to take this photo.
The jet here is a 268 AB, up from a 265AB standard jet.
 
 
prize the float pin out of it's retainer & slide it out to remove the floats. Be careful not to drop the float valve which is just hanging off the tang that presses it into it's seat
Carefully bend the tang to give the correct float height.
finally remove the float valve seat to inspect it for damage or dirt
