Here comes the Needle Jet/atomiser. It unscrews from inside the tube it lives in. I cheated and turned the carb up the other way to get the jet out so I could put it all back to take this photo. The jet here is a 268 AB, up from a 265AB standard jet. | |
prize the float pin out of it's retainer & slide it out to remove the floats. Be careful not to drop the float valve which is just hanging off the tang that presses it into it's seat | |
Carefully bend the tang to give the correct float height. | |
finally remove the float valve seat to inspect it for damage or dirt |
